The dossier entry: La radio de Hitler la noche del atentado

In the early hours of 21 July 1944, German radio broadcast a brief speech by Hitler confirming he had survived the attack and describing those responsible as a tiny clique of ambitious, unscrupulous officers. Broadcast just hours after the explosion at the Wolf's Lair, it dispelled the doubts of wavering commanders and proved decisive in making the Reserve Army abandon the plotters in Berlin.
